All About the Twitter Phenomenon – Part 3

All About the Twitter Phenomenon – Part 3

This is continued from part two of this article series. Please read that before you read this article.

What Are You Doing On Twitter?

Twitter.com has grown over 1300% last year. That means that many of us are joining Twitter in droves. Are you also tweeting? Why are you on this website where people only have to post what they are doing? There are several reasons why people join twitter. Ask a group of people and you may come up with findings that may surprise you. Here are some of them.

1. I am on Twitter because my friends are there.

2. I have joined this because I wanted to know what exactly is this website. Why has it grown so much? I am in Internet
business and am exploring to find out why so many people joined twitter. Why cannot I make something similar or different and make money?

3. I am on Twitter because celebrities like Oprah and Ashton Kutcher are there. I am their follower and keep track of what they are doing. I am always informed of new developments in their life.

4. I am trying to market my services on Twitter. Here is an audience of millions – most of them can be my potential
customers. I am thinking of ways to make them buy from me. The sheer number of members makes my mouth water with thoughts of profit.

5. I am on Twitter to fight my campaign of animal rights (or some other campaign). I find it cruel to kill animals. I feel that more people should know the torture the animals are undergoing.

6. I am on twitter to meet new people. When I get bored I read what others are saying and join conversations. I am having few friends in my real life and we hardly meet now a days. I have a need to connect with people. After all I am a social animal.

7. I frankly do not know why I joined. I have a habit of joining any website and social network which is popular. That way I feel good about myself. Honestly it is serving no purpose but I feel good.

What Is Your Behavior On Twitter?

Twitter is after all nothing but a gathering of people where people are talking incessantly about what they like. Think of a party scene where small groups gather and discuss about things that interest them. A new entrant will go and join a group, which he/she finds interesting, right? It is true with Twitter. We are all human beings and our behavior changes little. On the Internet, as many of us enjoy anonymity, we feel more free to express our thoughts. Otherwise our behavior remains same in physical or virtual world.

Let us discuss about your behavior, expectations and response on Twitter. What is your method for following others? Do you follow anybody who has many followers, or do you select people carefully to be followed. Please read further in part four of this article series.

How To Remove Follow And Unfollow Scammers

How To Remove Follow And Unfollow Scammers

With twitter becoming very popular these days and over 1 billion accounts have been opened and new sccount continuesly open each day, there is an increasing problems for twitterers who try to follow the rule and term of twitter’s policy. Unfornately, it also attracts many scammers who try to benefit by working on the edge of the rules.
I believe that we all find some difficulties to remove twitterers who try to take advantage of our generosity by re follow back anyone who follows us. Here are some tips may help. Remember there is less than 1% of these people who try to make their twitter page look good in our expense
1. Write the twitter name of the user who follow you
2. Make them in alphabet order by numbering each user
3. Then, go to the web and select tweet karma. The program is free, just type your user name ,pass word and click “whack”. Unfornately the bulk unfollowed button has been removed because of violation of twitter rule and term policy and select following in alphabet order.
4. Take a few minutes to check all those names which you have been collected. If you find them, block them once for all
5. Make sure you recheck them often. Most scammers have a large followered base then usually, unless he/he is a well known or infamous person.
If you join any free twitter related program, you may find some posts in your posting page. Make sure you aware of that. If you think, you want to deactivate any program which you have joined, just change you pass word.

Twitter – Online Social Networking

Twitter – Online Social Networking

I think I have resisted talking about Twitter (www.twitter.com) for long enough – up until now I have sidelined this popular social networking service as I never quite understood its value and considered it to just be a passing fad.

That was until this week when I was listening to the Chris Moyles show on Radio One. Despite paying a yearly TV licence fee which is designed to promote independence within the BBC and remove the financial need for advertising, they flipped to an advertisement for one of their own shows which kind of missed the point, I felt.

The ridiculous voice of Tim Westwood followed; a 51 year old Caucasian man who attempts to sound like a 20 something year old living a black rapper lifestyle. He boomed in to the mic ‘it’s ya boy, Westwood’, ‘I’m walking with the big dogs’, ‘I’m going to elevate my game’ before completely contrasting the persona by dropping his Twitter user name in to the advert and asking me to ‘tweet’ him. At this point I realised that perhaps the service was a little more established than I realised and perhaps it would be around for a while.

So what exactly is Twitter? The service is so simple that I think their own website sums it up best ‘Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co’workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?’.

You get a constant information feed that relates to what people are doing and what is on their mind. You get this when signing up and when following other users. You are able to follow anyone you wish and likewise others are also free to follow your musings – as such you can easily get in contact with, and follow, a large number of people that may have viewpoints or lives that interest you.

The remarkable thing about Twitter is the sheer popularity that it has amassed in its three year lifespan. Twitter is now the 82nd most popular website on the Internet with almost two million daily visits. Part of the popularity of the service may well be the number of prominent users that the service has attracted – For example, Stephen Fry has 400,000 followers.

Messages can be posted directly via the Twitter site or via your mobile phone. Messages with up to 140 charcters can be sent using the mobile phone option. Once broadcast those that are following you will see your update on their own twitter homepage.

The service is making history, another explanation to the popularity can probably be found by looking into this. On December 2008 it was announced that Israel would be the first government to hold a worldwide press conference on Twitter to take questions from the public on the war against Hamas. During the November 2008 Mumbai siege the use of Twitter by victims, bystanders and the public to gather news and coordinate responses lead to CNN calling it ‘the day that social media appeared to come of age’. Twitter usage increased 43% on US Election Day.

The value placed on such a simple idea is also staggering. Tens of millions have been ploughed in to the service by venture capitalist firms and despite having no real discernable income several financial reports value the company at 0 million.

5 Tweet-tastic Reasons to Use Twitter as a Marketing Tool

5 Tweet-tastic Reasons to Use Twitter as a Marketing Tool

If you pay close attention to TV and radio ads these days, many companies, both large and small, are promoting their Twitter and Facebook accounts just as much as their websites. In some cases, more than their websites.

One of the major reasons that businesses are using Twitter as a marketing tool is because it has the potential to reach so many people. And unlike a less targeted, traditional commercial that speaks to a massive audience, your Twitter messages will reach a group of people (your followers) who actually want to see your message.

Changes in consumer buying patterns have brought about changes in the marketplace, which naturally has led to changes in how businesses market to their potential and current customer base. Interruption-based marketing techniques such as commercials and mailers are losing steam as consumers are finding new ways to avoid them. The rise of DVRs and TiVos give people the opportunity to skip over a commercial, meaning the money invested in producing the 30-second spot, as well as the air-time, is missed by a large amount of the audience it’s intended for.

With Twitter, you can interact with your customers, provide them with relevant content about your products, announce happenings and advancements within your company, and alert them of any deals, discounts, or new product launches. And, since your followers are following you for a reason, you can be assured your messages are being well-received by an audience who wants the information.

Here are four (and a half) reasons why using Twitter as a marketing tool can greatly benefit your company:

1) Reach - As I mentioned before, you have the potential to build a large and targeted following through Twitter because so many people use this free service…to the tune of over 20 million people.

2) Value - Twitter provides a great opportunity to share valuable, remarkable content with your audience. By doing this, you build a reputation as a trusted source of information that isn’t just concerned with selling. Your audience will recognize this and be more prone to buy from you because you’ve established trust through being a credible resource.

3) Timeliness - If you launch a new product, create a press release, blog post, or new web page, you can send out a quick tweet to your followers directing them towards the new content. Or, if you come across information that relates to your niche, you can tweet that, too. And, it’s in real-time. It reaches your audience immediately and they can link to it when they’re ready to consume it.

4) Personality - Twitter is a great place to build your brand and inject personality into your marketing. Social media is about being social. Therefore, use Twitter to brand your company as not only an authority, but a fun and personable entity that customers, clients, and other people in your niche enjoy interacting with.

5) Simplicity - Using Twitter is very easy. However, there are countless amounts of people and companies who misuse the service. A general rule of thumb to keep in mind is that no one likes a “spam-bot.” If you spend your day doing nothing but spamming out links to your business instead of providing valuable content, you’ll quickly build a reputation as a spammer. This will lead to lost credibility, a horrible reputation, and worse, Twitter blacklisting you from their service.

So…keep it simple, but don’t misuse and spam all day.

Twitter, Facebook, and other social media has caught the eye of many companies because it provides an opportunity to interact with customers and supply them with instant information. If used effectively, your message can reach a large audience who is ready and willing to receive it. You can learn more about effectively using social media in your business by checking out my blog.

What’s Twitter and How Can it Help Me Market My Accounting Practice?

What’s Twitter and How Can it Help Me Market My Accounting Practice?

There is presently no consensus as to Twitter’s marketing value. Many number crunchers believe the ROI of twitter isn’t high enough to warrant the time spent on it. On the other side there are trendy marketers who jeer at trying to measure the ROI of tools like twitter. Personally I believe in Twitter as a marketing tool, but in the end you’ll need to decide for yourself if you concur.

First… What is Twitter? How does it affect your CPA or accounting Practice?

In the simplest possible terms it enables it’s members to send out short notes, called “Tweets”, to their followers. It is an extremely successful and popular representative of what is generally known as a “social networking site”. This isn’t Email. You don’t get to determine who will see your “Tweets”. Instead they are circulated publicly for everybody see. Your friends, or “followers”, each have their own home page, however, and your message will be added to it so they can see it the next time they log in.

So how can Twitter help you market your CPA practice? There are a lot strategies you can utilize. Let’s kickoff with client retention.

One strong incentive to use Twitter is merely that your a lot of of your clients use it. You are displaying a concern about their lives by following their tweets.

Twitter also offers you a terrific opportunity to keep your brand in front of your clients. Your Tweets are a a terrific tool for showing them that you are working hard for them, and while tweets are really not honestly a very personal method to communication, they do FEEL personal. You will also find out things about your clients that you would not otherwise be privy to just by paying attention to their tweets. You’ll often find it appropriate to answer a tweet on a more intimate level. I’m not just talking about catching a client tweeting about accounting problems that you can help them or their friends with. That happens, but not very often. I’m talking about their “real” lives. As an accountant you are oftentimes not privy to subjects like births, marriages, and deaths in time to send out suitable congratulations or condolences. Twitter will put you in the loop.

Would anyone contend that regular personal contact isn’t good for client retention?

Lastly, all tweets are public. They are posted on the Twitter main homepage (at least for a few New York minutes). There are tools you can use to keep an eye on every Tweet posted and send you an alert if certain keywords, for example, your or one of your associates’ names are used. Using tools like this to discover clients that are talking about you is tremendously helpful. If these posts are agreeable you can thank the poster, and if they are injurious you can address the problem straightaway.

Accuratetly finding Twitters ROI seems unlikely to me. I don’t buy that it’s actually possible to figure the dollar value of these types of client retention strategies. In the defense of Twitter’s many and oftentimes well-thought-of naysayers, there’s also no way to show with any certainty that they succeed either.

Things turn even more murky when you talk about client acquisition, but this is where I submit that Twitter has an opportunity to truly shine.

Again… there are loads of ways.

You can put back links in your tweets. This not only drives guests to your site, if the information you’re linking to is worthy there’s an excellent chance some of your friends will “ReTweet” it. In plain English; they will forward it to their followers. This works wonderfully if you have your own blog, but even if you don’t you could steer them to a free guide on your website, (just as an example) “How to get Top Dollar for Your House”. There’s a good chance that a number of of your followers know at least one person who’s selling a house. If so they might ReTweet it, and this tweet will be broadcast not just to the person who’s selling, but to ALL the ReTweeter’s followers as well. Tweets can, and often do, “go viral”. This can acquaint your brand to loads of new prospects.

In SEO speak: they don’t fetch any “Page Rank” they do fetch a little bit of “Domain Authority” and facilitate the search engines in noticing and indexing new pages.

Now I have made a good living doing professional CPA Website Design for a number of years, so what I’m about to express may give the impression of being self-defeating at the outset. It’s not, though, because I plan my sites with this marketing paradigm in mind: A good accounting site is built to be a networking tool.

The quickest, sharpest, most successful business owners don’t, usually, pick their accountant haphazardly from Bing searches or the local phone book. The better prospects select their CPA or accountant by networking. They contact you because someone they know and hold in high regard advocated for you. Sites like Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn are a material online evolution of traditional network marketing, and as such, deserve serious regard as marketing tools.

Twitter Marketing Tips for Your Online Business

Twitter Marketing Tips for Your Online Business

Twitter is the social network that has successfully transplanted people’s love of text messages to an online format. This is the place for people to meet others with similar interests and exchange opinions and gossip,  within the 140 character limit. Twitter can be used in a variety of ways, and people can easily learn how it works in a few minutes. That’s why it can be the perfect place to promote any kind of online business.

Let’s take a look at some basic guidelines to follow when using Twitter for marketing.

There are constantly people using Twitter. If you hope to succeed marketing with Twitter, you need to utilize all its capabilities and you need to consider everything you do. Monitoring the Twitter stream to see if people are talking about your product/service is the first step towards directly getting in touch with your prospects. Twitter’s search function can be used to look for anyone who is talking about the product or service. By searching for discussions, you’ll be able to see firsthand how people react to the product, and you’ll get honest reviews which you can then use for your own promotional efforts. The more you look into it, the better understanding you will have of your potential customers.

Offer as much value as you can to the Twitter community. Giving to the community isn’t all about proving how knowledgeable you are, you can share other people’s work that you found to be helpful. Don’t even think twice about sharing valuable info and resources with your group, just do it. It’s a win-win situation, you please both, your audience and build relationships with other marketers. You just may land a big joint venture. Share others’ content and they will do the same for you, which will bring you even more exposure. You will be surprised at the amount of support you will get when you help promote other Twitter marketers and add value to your follower’s lives.

There is one important Twitter marketing tactic that is seldom mentioned, which is to only follow as many people as you can keep track of. Why is that so important? If you end up with thousands of people following you, your ability to manage your account will suffer. It’s difficult to keep up with large number of followers.

It’s important to build relationships on Twitter, and you can only do this if you have a reasonable number of followers. It is as clear as day, Twitter can take your business to an entirely new level. Twitter is there for the taking, and you are now better equipped to make something happen.

Twitter Traffic Machine To Make Money Online, A Review Of Twitter by Andrew Cimino

Twitter Traffic Machine To Make Money Online, A Review Of Twitter by Andrew Cimino

The Twitter Traffic Machine

The Twitter traffic machine is a fast growing product that aims to make people money through twitter. Its relatively cheap, i bought it, with the idea of reviewing it and telling everyone if its worth the time to use. The Twitter traffic machine aims at showing strategies and secrets to increase your followers dramatically within a few days.

How Do You Make Money From Twitter?

The increase in followers then allows you to sell products through your status updates, or also called breaking news updates. The more followers you have, potentially the more buyers there are. So the end goal is to try to get thousands of followers, and then try promote some products and hope they buy.

http://downloadelectronicproducts.com/

Did It Work For Me?

With many of these products, i buy them and trial them for a day before informing you how it goes, as im to busy with work and other family committments. In my two days of using the twitter traffic machine, i managed to generate over seven thousand followers. I was putting in a lot of time over those two days using the same strategies as the twitter traffic machine. I didn’t make any sales in the two days, however about nine days later, i decided to put a few links to some products. And i did make two sales. There are people out there who have used this product and its strategies to generate many more followers and thus they have been able to make a lot more sales from the twitter traffic machine.

Conclusion

The twitter traffic machine is a bit time consuming, but it does give results. You can make an online living through this, but most likely part time. Twitter will be around for the long term, like facebook and myspace so i reccommend using this product. Put some hours in generating followers, and enjoy the rewards.
